In November I’ll be offering a weekend course on “Relaunching Your Life in Retirement” with Heather Bennett, a career transitions coach and adult educator, at St. John’s Convent, 233 Cummer Ave. in north Toronto.
Retirement involves making transitions to a new phase of life. For some, these changes are eagerly anticipated and seem easy. Yet for others, this transition may be surprisingly difficult. With intentional preparation and guidance, retirement can open the door to new possibilities for living and being, based on your sense of God’s call for you in this life stage. If you plan to retire soon, or if you’ve retired recently and want to look into new possibilities in retirement, this program offers opportunities to discern potential new directions, discover what really matters to you, and make decisions. Presentations, large and small group discussions, individual reflection and creative expression will all be used. Participants will stay at the convent.
Participation in daily worship services will be an option along with walking the labyrinth and using the library. All are welcome—individuals and couples.
For registration information and other details please contact St. John’s convent, tel. 416-226-2201, firstname.lastname@example.org
